I'd like to find someone to hang out with and get to know; then see if it goes somewhere. I'd prefer to find long term romance, but friendship is also a great thing to find. Hoping to find someone very smart with a great sense of humor who likes to take care of herself. I'm a professional guy who prefers quiet easygoing times, so long as we can get away for an adventure from time to time.
I don't really see the point in creating a public confessional on a dating website, so I'd rather get to know someone for real than try and pretend it can be done by writing things about myself here. I am a very open and honest person in life, and there really isn't much I am not happy to talk about with someone who wants to get to know me. But I am not the kind of person who would ever join a reality TV show and am not terribly comfortable doing that in even a trivial way here. Heck, I don't even like talking to friends on a cell phone when other people can hear whatever it is I'm talking about. I don't know why more people aren't embarrassed about that stuff, I only know that I am.
I grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland which, btw, is a pretty nice place to grow up. It does have that winter snow stuff though, so I got out. Things I love about LA include being able to meet people from pretty much anywhere in the world; getting to eat awesome food from places I've never been, even before I have a chance to go there; the arts and music scene; and all the awesome things to do that are not too far away once you get past the miserable traffic here.
I love the outdoors beauty here and try to take advantage of it as often as I can.
I love reading and writing fiction; wish I had more time for both. Time is, unfortunately, something we never have enough of...so, if you think we might be a great match, send me a note and let me know, so we can stop wasting ours and get the heck off this website.
