Have you ever read your profile and just thought it sounded boring... that's what I was feeling about mine. Here are the beyond the surface things you should know. Jesus is important to me. Being a Christian is not just a box I check off or a cute American saying, but a lifestyle choice. It is my ability to think about the "least of these" and my ability to "offer my other cheek" when someone slaps me in the face, figuratively. If this sounds crazy, then you may not realize that Jesus' message was radical. I try to love people and love God at all times (and forgiveness is a big part of that).
Beyond my spiritual identity, I am artistic.... I love music, play on the piano from time to time, sing often, photograph more photos that I have time to edit, and write poetry when I time and emotion come together in perfect harmony :) Vocationally, I teach elementary children by day and run my photography business by night (and by weekend). This means that I work quite a bit, but when you love it and find purpose in it, it's not that bad! There was a time when I "had fun" more frequently, but ever since I started teaching a couple of years ago, my time got tied up... but I am working on freeing up more time in the near future. That said, I love being active with other people, whether we are bowling, skating, shopping, dining at a new spot, visiting a historic landmark, taking a road trip, or whipping something up in the kitchen. I am not really the sky diving for no good reason kind of person, but I can be your moral support from the side lines if that's what you want to do :)
I am looking for a Christian man, who is responsible, diligent, and interested in getting to know me. Some things are nice to have, but others are non-negotiable. He must desire to grow in his life in general. (I've heard before that anything not growing is dead...) If this sounds like you, please don't hesitate to communicate!
