I always try to find the silver lining in bad situations and love to make other people laugh. I am self-motivated, ambitious and a little bit eclectic when it comes to just about everything. I graduated from San Diego State with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have been working as an engineer in professional motorsports ever since. My family has a long history of military service, which is one of the reasons I recently joined the National Guard as an Officer Candidate...that and getting to throw grenades at Basic Training. I will be starting my Masters degree in September. I am always trying to better myself and appreciate learning from my friends and family around me.
I was born and raised in San Diego. I have two older sisters. Two nieces and a nephew, who are awesome and always want to go to Disneyland. I have two dogs, Riley and Bowie. I love the Padres and am always disappointed by how terrible they are. My family are big Duke basketball fans, so if you like UNC, you might have a tough time.
The most important quality that I look for in another person is probably self-confidence. I like someone who knows who they are and what they want out of life. Someone who can laugh at themselves and isn't afraid to poke fun at me either. I like knowing that the other person has their own life, and that I am only trying to enhance it, not be the center of it. I'm looking for a Christian woman with a quick wit that can challenge me, both spiritually and mentally.
I've never really been into the whole bar scene, so I figured I'd give this a try.
