OK so here goes. Who am I? What am I about? How did we both arrive here at this same place?
I’ve been an architect my entire life and have always been interested in the creative arts. I grew up in the Midwest learning about the importance of family, the meaning of true friends, and the value of hard work. I am loyal to these aspects of my life to a fault.
I have a 13 year old daughter and 2 grown children who mean the world to me. Friends and even colleagues have called me a hopeless romantic, a great listener, the “nice guy” who will do anything for you, and the person you can always rely on when things get tough…..call it that Midwest upbringing, I suppose.
I am looking for my best friend. Someone that shares an appreciation for the same things I do. I am looking for someone who loves adventure and seeing new places as much as they love staying at home, snuggled on the couch while watching a great movie. I am looking for someone who appreciates a cold wintry rain while sitting next to a roaring fire as much as they enjoy a white sandy beach basking in the hot sun at a tropical resort.
I am looking for someone who can keep me laughing with a great sense of humor….actually, aren’t we all? I am looking for that special person that is confident in herself without being selfish or arrogant, someone with integrity and ambition….someone with passion for living life to the fullest each day as though it might be your last.
I am not a great cook but know my way around the kitchen and take great pride in preparing a wonderful meal for the woman in my life. I strive to eat healthy and take care of myself and am looking for someone who practices the same in their life.
I am respectful and sensitive to the needs of a woman so completely understand and appreciate that many of you are looking for a long-term monogamous relationship. If you believe as I do that chemistry is the essential ingredient to a great relationship then you will agree that finding a true partner….a best friend….takes time.
