Hey there! I guess I should start by saying that I think I'm at an exciting and interesting point in my life. I've been blessed with a great family and wonderful friends but I find myself at a point where all of my friends are now married and beginning to raise a family. While I'm happy for them, I unfortunately don't get to see them very often anymore.
I just recently bought a house after renting for what seemed like an eternity. I've come to realize several things over the past few weeks: 1. I am not the handyman I thought I was; 2. I have absolutely no sense of style; and 3. No amount of trips to Home Depot can fix these shortcomings. For me, falling off the roof and minor electrocution have become the norm. I wish I was kidding...
Work tends to take up alot of my time. Besides my day job, I occasionally teach college paralegal courses and I can see myself making the transition to a full-time instructor some day, should the opportunity present itself. While work keeps me busy, I'm making a conscious effort to not let it run my life. Life is too short and we all need a little fun once in a while.
