My friends would describe me as someone with a good sense of humor, sharp, approachable, and honest. Some find me strong minded and a straight shooter. However, my intention is always to engage in mindful conversation and find common ground. I am deep thinker with a romantic lean. I was taught early on in life to be independent and self-sufficient, thus my sense of freedom is important to me. Needless to say, I am not looking to be taken care of, but it would nice to find a companion who supports me emotionally when needed. My creative yearnings are tapped through the arts of photography and teaching. A people person, I enjoy learning about others and the world in general. My favorite place is Spain. Every little corner of this amazing country calls my name. Originally from Chile, I've lived most of my life in South Florida, although I've also spent some time in the mid-west and Europe. My favorite things are spending time with good friends and family, a good read, a moment of inspiration that taps my writing and a great song that gets me moving. I love dancing! I like to spend time with quality people who are not superficial and truly appreciate the gifts of life. I make time for running and yoga as keeping myself healthy is a must. Being the mom of two intelligent beautiful daughters keeps me grounded and provides me with a tremendous sense of purpose. What am I looking for? I would say "a friend" who is a good listener and conversationalist. Someone who likes a good laugh and doesn't take himself too seriously. He should be active and enjoy taking care of himself spiritually, mentally and physically. Someone who is comfortable expressing his feelings and understands that emotions are best communicated than left unsaid. At this point in my life, I am not looking to start a serious relationship, but I would like to meet someone interesting and sensitive who is fun to be around.
