About me:
I?m a normal and relatively sane, emotionally stable, very laid-back and logical guy, although I keep one toe dipped in crazy just to keep things exciting. I?m a college educated IT professional by day. I have a technical corporate job that I?m very proud of. I?ve worked very hard to become self sufficient and responsible. I own my own home, have a vehicle and pay my bills. I work to live, I don?t live to work. I?ve been told I have a very sharp wit, and at times sarcastic sense of humor. My ideal mate would be able to appreciate this and return friendly fire once in a while. I believe I am of above average intelligence. I?m also a musician (guitaristsingersongwriter) for the last 25 years. Music is a huge part of who I am. I have three dogs who I consider family. I love watching movies (stupid comedies sci-fi and horror) and pro football. I have three tattoos and plan to get more. I love being with friends on the water or outdoors. I tend to get cabin fever easily. I?ve been known to enjoy microbrews, cooking outside on the grill and an occasional cigar or a hand of blackjack from time to time. I don?t mind getting in the kitchen and I enjoy home maintenance and home improvement projects. I like to travel and plan on using my new passport, always up for trying new adventures! I?m close with my family and spend a lot of time with them. I consider myself a ?manly? guy but I?m also very in touch with my emotions. I have a small circle of friends, some I?ve had for over 30 years.
Who I'm looking for:
Looking for an intelligent, good-hearted soul who is laid back with an infectious positive attitude, who isn?t afraid to not be perfect. Someone who can put me at ease with just her voice or her touch. Someone who makes everybody else in the room disappear when she enters. Being able to hold a deep intelligent conversation for hours would be stellar! In our old age, that?s all we?ll have. Someone who isn?t too high maintenance to tear into some pizza and wings or let socks sit on the floor without calling the neurotic neat police. Someone who can laugh at themselves and the world around them. Someone who supports and understands me, accepts me, doesn?t judge me. Someone who piles on affection, who will curl up next to me on the couch or rub my head, is a keeper. Be able to effectively show emotions without losing control of them. Someone who can communicate just with her eyes. As for physical appearance, I think women should look like women, which means curves. I also tend to notice eyes, hair and a smile that will stop traffic. Also someone who has her own identity. My role is to be your partner, to enhance and support who you already are. I believe there are three parts to a relationship; you, me and us. Us being the biggest part without losing the other two. If you are still into ?clubbing? or hitting the bars every weekend or feel compelled to still flash hand signs or pucker your lips when getting your picture taken, please don?t bother.
I know this profile is a little forward but it?s honest and I?d rather get it all out now and meet the girl of my dreams.
