Hey there - I'm Katie. Quite frankly I don't know what to say about myself in a few paragraphs that should sway you one way or the other from getting to actually know me, but here it goes: I'm fun, caring, quick witted, I love to try new things and enjoy the beauty in life whenever possible. I am also not afraid to be myself and I hope you're aren't either. I believe laughter is the best medicine, but quality hugs are a close second. I love to cook anything and everything for everybody. I don't currently like to bake, however it grows on me the more I practice. I enjoy exploring, being active, reading, spending time outside in the sun, or curling up on the couch and watching a movie or my favorite TV show. I am currently working on furthering my education because I believe if we aren't learning we aren't living. I love kids and would very much like to have some one day. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I don't like to fold socks, I love a good rom com or action movie, and I have a fear of heights and snakes. I do adore other animals: I grew up with cats, birds, and fish but I also love dogs. I've been told I have an "old soul" and that I am mature for my age, which I attribute to learning from my life experiences and being self aware. Let me clarify: I believe there is a time and a place for everything. I may be mature, but I don't take life so seriously that I can't laugh at myself.
I am looking for someone who knows how to interact with people and can hold their own in a conversation, someone who will challenge me intellectually, someone that "gets me" and appreciates my quirks, likes Disney, and would like to go exploring with me when the mood strikes. I think being active and taking care of yourself is important. Honesty, trust, respect, kindness, compassion, humor, and ambition are also important qualities to me. I have zero interest in dating someone who smokes or does drugs. I would like to find someone I can share my dreams with and build a life with (someday), and that can be my best friend and partner in crime.
