I am a corporate fashion girl who designs handbags, dances when ever she has the chance, loves to get out of the country atleast once a year and is awful at small talk.
I am very curious about all things that make the modern world work. Economics, politics, history, social science. I like being around people who have the same intellectual range and curiosity and can teach me something new. i listen to alot of podcasts, radiolab, freakonomics, planet money, startalk. my career is fulfilling but is also so superficial and mindless i like to try to keep up to date with the more important things happening in the world.
i've lived in nyc, la, philly, london and san diego. i travel to china now and again for work, and really looking forward to having more time to get out of the country.
I respect and enjoy outgoing busy people who take pride in their career, but put just as much effort into taking care of themselves and having fun doing the things they are passionate about. I feel a lot of the new Yorkers on here are like me. We work very hard, and don’t want to waste precious time hanging around in bars trying to meet people we have nothing in common with. Friends, family, career, working out and taking care of myself are my main cares in life.
At this point in my life I am not interested in pointless dating. I don't know if I want to get married or not, have children or not, but I know that I am a catch, and i want to meet someone who is a thinker, a planner, a do-er, not in anyway a wallflower, and doesn't want to spend the rest of their life out in the suburbs.
if you feel the same way, let me know
