I'm almost ready to give up the search, a close friend has asked me to try match.com so here I am. I'm an optimist so how could I say no when I haven't given it a try.Here it goes:
I'm AmericanJapanese born into a military family. It has left me proud to be an American. I've traveled to far off places- and Ive seen most of our beautiful country.
Down to earth,easy going woman. traveled to Fiji, Europe, Tahiti and of course Hawaii. Lots of places in Baja. Even took a rode trip from here to Cabo. I still have many places on my list.
It always feels good to land on American soil.
It's been years since the back packing trip but I still remember the way it felt to soak in hot water after 2weeks in the Sierra Nevada Mtn Range. LOL i couldn't tell if it was dirt or a suntan!
I think you can tell a lot about a person from traveling with them, let's just say on the trip to Tahiti all I took was a backpack and a hat- left the hat there. Fiji WOW the people are so wonderful!
My family settled in San Diego in '69. I've lived coastal for many years.
You will not find me in Starbucks or glued to the TV.
Not in to corporate food, I enjoy Thai ,Pho, Japanese (of course) Korean and fresh seafood.
My hobby is Polynesian dance took a break, just started back up again with my former group. Reconnecting with the things I love.
Easy going, love my family and know how to be a good friend. I have strong values.
I've never had a one night stand and know I didn't miss out - not trying to relive my lost years.
I have given myself 3 years to regain my life from my divorce. I believed in love then and believe in it now. My parents have been married forever and my father will be 90 years old in Jan. I guess I have a strong blood line LOL
Since I expect to live into my 90's possibly longer, I'd really enjoy the company of a pleasant man. Probably a guy who doesn't have to prove himself with endless banter.Someone that can enjoy the mountains or the oceans.My brother is a great example of the guy I'm looking for! I'll never forget ,it was early in the morning,he was staying at my house on the lake,I handed him a hot cup of joe and he says to my brother in law "I hope the woman I spend the rest of my life with can look like that in the morning,she ties her hair up in a knot and splashes cold water on her face and look" Anyway... Guess I'm saying I'm not into trying to hard, just my best with the stuff that lies within and hopefully it shows up glowing on my skin.

My deal breakers - please do not contact me if you have strange sexual issues , smoke pot, use prescription medications to ease your emotional life or can't emagine your life with out a drink.
