Hi! A couple of friends have met great people on here so I thought I would give it a try as well. I am originally from Portland, Oregon and have also lived in Honolulu, Hawaii. Five years ago, I moved to the Bay Area for graduate school. After graduating, I found a school I love teaching at because of it's mission to work with underserved student populations. It's been a blessing and an amazing learning experience.
It's hard to sum myself up but I think most friends would describe me as down to earth, social, fun-loving, caring, hardworking, spacey, and sometimes quirky person. I tend to stay busy and love spending time with friends, but also have an introverted side and enjoy relaxing at home or reading a book. I am looking for someone who is fun to be around and has similar values and interests.
I tend to be old-fashioned when it comes to dating, and am cautious about meeting people online. I need time to get to know people, so I am sometimes shy at first.
