I spend my days teaching third grade special needs children. Often when I tell people this they tilt their head and make a comment about how patient and nice I must be. I am...most of the time. The truth is I get a lot out of my job, and while my students can be challenging, they also keep things real and interesting. I can't say I ever have a boring day.
I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia with my family of six. While having a bigger family can be hectic at times, I can honestly say that my siblings and I are close, and we get along really well. My family is full of story tellers and wise guys so dinner is never dull.
On a regular weekend I can be found at a small BYO or grabbing a drink with friends, visiting friends who live in other cities, dancing, catching a ball game, staying in and watching a movie, or looking for something new to try. I enjoy working out, reading, spending time with family and friends and exploring different places. Several years ago I took up Latin dancing. There is nothing Latin about me, but I love every second of it. Education is also important to me, and I'm always looking for ways to continue my education. I have traveled some, but hope to do a lot more of it!
I am looking for a man who is ambitious and thoughtful. Someone who values family and friends. Someone who is willing to grow together, but continues to explore his own interests. I enjoying laughing and cracking jokes, so humor is very important. I'm looking forward to the adventure I will embark upon with this person.
