I'm a native New Yorker (the state, not city). After a few moves - Baltimore for college, upstate New York for law school, and Los Angeles for work, I moved to DC nearly 3 years ago now, which I guess makes me almost a native by DC standards. Though I've been here a few years, I'm still exploring the city and learning new neighborhoods, and loving every minute of it.
I'm from a large, tight-knit Irish family, most of whom still live in New York but we're starting to scatter a bit. I try to visit them regularly (especially my twin sister in Chicago) but never seem to see them as much as I would like.
Now for the difficult part - describing myself. I think my friends would describe me as friendly, warm, caring, smart, driven, and generous. I love going to new restaurants, watching and playing sports, volunteering, going to plays, etc. Basically, I try to stay active around what can be a demanding work schedule. But, of course, sometimes low-key movie nights are in order. I got the travel bug while studying abroad in college so I'm generally counting down the days until my next trip, whether it be a weekend road trip or an international get away.
I'm looking for a guy who is fun, outgoing, intelligent, and motivated. Bonus points if you make me laugh regularly.
