I have lived/worked in the DC area for 12 years, but I recently moved to the center of DC and am really liking city life. I love that there is always something new to see and experience just by stepping outside.
While I do like to spend time relaxing (and usually eating and drinking) with friends - I am an explorer - whether it be here in DC or traveling to new places. This year I went to Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon! On a regular weekend, I am game for trying new restaurants, seeing art, watching the game, or going to the movies.
I have a strong network of friends/family (they're all pretty fun and a bit crazy), but it would be nice to have someone to connect with. I am looking for someone who I can have fun with, and truly be myself around. I like a man who knows how to dress, who is serious about and enjoys his work, but also knows how to relax. I would like to meet someone who is thoughtful, intelligent, and interested in pursuing a happy life. Oh, I also like a sense of humor - life is too short to not have fun with it.
The bottom line is that I think dating should be fun...and not stressful. I want to go for coffee/drinks/dinner, have a good conversation, laugh and be genuine. What about you?
