A little about me: I'm newly back in Pittsburgh - I grew up here and went to college at Penn State - University Park, but I've never lived here as an adult! I spent two years in Busan, South Korea, teaching English as a Second Language. They were two of the best years of my life, and I learned a lot about myself and the world while I was there... and got to do some amazing traveling! I'm back in Pittsburgh now and am ready to rediscover the city that I grew up in!
I'm fun and smart - I like to be around people who can hold their own and bring new and interesting things to the table. I'm fairly active, but I'm also pretty confident in my looks. I like to think that I'm fiercely independent, but I love more than anything to have a guy who can get the plates down from the top shelf and shoo the spiders outside. (No, I don't think that's all guys are good for.) That said, I'm pretty laid back - in my relationships, I've always looked at my boyfriend as just as much a best friend as a boyfriend. I know that people need to have their space, but I also like to have someone to do the little stuff with - watching movies, making dinner every once in a while, walking the dog (that I plan to have at some point in my life!).
I'm a natural leader - I've always been the president of the bunch or been the one organizing the party, but I can also be a little bit shy in new situations. I'm very patient and I always like to make sure that people are taken care of. On the other hand, I can be incredibly sarcastic and am really working on my "potty mouth." I love to get dressed up and look fancy every once in a while, but mostly you can find me in jeans and a sweater when I'm at home.
I have a pretty wide range of interests - I love reading, watching sports, cooking, volunteering, discovering new things to see and do. I also love to travel - I've been all over the U.S.A. and Asia; have been to Europe, want to go back. I love taking road trips to visit friends. I'm pretty close with my family as well, so the right guy has to be prepared for that. They're a great bunch - a bit hot-headed at times, but mostly just loveable.
I want someone who is fun to be around and smart enough to hold his own. I am interested someone who can make me laugh, but who is also stable and confident. I love tall guys, but other than that, I'm not too picky. Mostly, I'm looking for someone I have chemistry with. I'm not looking to rush into anything either - if I find the right guy here, that'd be great, but I'm looking forward to the journey, not just the end goal. That being said, I'm not looking to play games - if you're interested, great; if not, no big deal. I'm looking for a relationship that is honest and straightforward!
PS: Did I menton that I love watching sports? I did. Right. (Except basketball. Sorry.)
