I'm a nurse, and the human connection is a big part of who I am. I'm very hands on, and I like to touch, and be touched. I like to hold hands, and I love to kiss and be kissed. I'm also "old fashioned," and dare I say that although I appreciate what feminism has to offer (after all, I'm an independent woman with a career), I think it's ruined chivalry. I could not live my life without music, and I like most genres. Gangsta rap, death metal, and electronica excluded! Big venue or small, it doesn't matter to me. I'm the one you pass on the freeway singing in her car. I'm the one in the grocery store singing in the produce department. And I'm the one at the gym with the old school iPod mouthing lyrics while trying not to fall off the treadmill.
I'm "full-figured," but that doesn't mean I can't climb a flight of stairs, or run a 5k (which I did on Thanksgiving- way fun). I love to go outside and play, and feel very fortunate to live an area where this is possible pretty much year 'round. If you wish to judge me based on looks alone, feel free to do so. I was married for 25 years, and no, this isn't a typo-I was young. I've raised two beautiful daughters, and have a baby granddaughter whom I adore. I'm not looking to get married and start a new family. I am, however, looking for someone with passion, and all that it encompasses. I'm a pretty simple person, and prefer genuine, *real people.
