When it comes to myself, friends describe me as a man of integrity, as well as truthful, thoughtful, hardworking, independent, and a bit adventurous. All of which are attributes about myself that also find especially attractive in others. I would describe myself though as a simple guy who just loves to hang out and enjoys a good conversation to discover the points of view, interests, and ideas that are important to other people. I am admittedly a little reserved when first meeting people, but after getting to know me a little you will soon discover that I’m really just a big goof ball who loves to laugh and have as much fun as possible.
When it comes to my interests, I am blessed with having many of them but cursed with being truly passionate about none. Although when it comes to traveling, whether it’s crossing the Atlantic or just a short road trip to visit a few friends, I absolutely love being on the go and I truly wish I had the time to do more of it.
When it comes to relationships, simply put, I am very inexperienced. Life beyond high school was filled with a lot of moving around, a lot of adventures, a lot of self discovery, but very little time to develop a meaningful, long lasting relationship with anyone special. Then after you throw in college, more moving around, and even more college, I easily realize now that I didn’t truly open myself up to the idea of trying to find “The One” during those hectic years, but focused more on trying to find myself, my academic interests, and my future career. In fact I can barely remember the last time I felt I had connected with someone on a deeper level than friendship, but here’s hoping that will soon change.
When it comes to what I’m looking for, the answer is simple, fun. I want someone who believes that relationships are supposed to be more fun than work and not just another block of seemingly endless mistakes filled with dramatized fighting, lying, and months of contempt fueled misery and servitude. I just want to enjoy getting to know a girl who I can share my interests with and her share her passions with me. I want someone who will talk me into watching a classic movie that perhaps I’ve never heard of or take part in a hobby that perhaps I never would have tried on my own. I want to be challenged, stimulated, inspired, and most of all energized with that heart pounding feeling of exhilaration and enthusiasm of even the anticipation of spending time with that special person that you know you just click with.
