So this is where I'm supposed to talk about myself? Oh boy. I consider myself a very social person in that I really enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and those I care about. I also enjoy meeting new people whether in a business setting or at a social gathering. Still, I'm not the guy who goes out to bars and clubs every night. While it's fun on occasion, in general I'd prefer to go to a house party, have a cookout with some friends, have a game/movie night, etc. I love my job, even though it requires me to work long hours and travel somewhat regularly. It is an important part of my life because it allows me to afford some of the luxuries I have, yet it isn't the end all be all for me. I think it's very important for everyone to have interests outside of their work as well. For me, that often means getting out doors, spending time with my dogs, learning new skills, like beer brewing (still working on that one), or partaking in some other fun activity. I must warn you, I am a bit of a geek. I can quote Monty Python, I love Star Wars...well at least the original three, and I like playing video games from time to time. Conversely I also enjoy cycling, kayaking, hiking, skiing, white water rafting, and many other outdoor activities. I guess that makes me a social mutt? Typically the geeky side comes out after a long day at work when all I want to do is relax, and the outdoorsy guy shows up on the weekends and holidays when I have time and extra energy. As for the type of person I'm looking to attract, I guess I'm just hoping to find another mutt. I'd like to find someone with whom I can curl up and watch a movie with one day, and then go kayak in the rain on another. I'm definitely at the point where I'm looking for more than just a casual relationship. I'd like to find my partner in crime.
