I am a 32 year old single mom of a soon-to-be 13 year old son. I am very kind and understanding on all levels. Love to be laid back! Negativity does not work well with me, please leave that for someone else. However, I do love to joke around and be silly. Life is too short to be up-tight.
It has been a regular occurrence now that I am mistaken as a kid, my size and apparently my cute face! I've accepted it and am completely ok with shaving 10 years from my age from here on out. Feel free to mistake me as a kid, just as long as I'm not treated like one... it's fine with me!
At the moment I have primary custody of my son, he rarely is away from me on the weekends. With that being said, if a kid scares you please understand I am not able to build on any kind of friendship or relationship if he is not a part of it. I am a package deal. He is an independent kid and growing faster than I can keep up so we're not exactly always attached at the hip!
Some activities I enjoy include running/fitness, spectator sports, playing sports, outdoors, watersports, the beach, music/guitar, cars, volunteering, karaoke, movies, or things I've never tried! As long as it's reasonable, I'm not afraid to try new activities at least once.
A few of my favorite things, 1.) Kids laughing and having fun 2.) Drunk people laughing and having fun.
I consider myself very kind , however I've been single for 3 years now and have transitioned and grown quite a bit. Smarter, stronger, and know what I want. I am better at identifying unhealthy situations. Drama, I stay clear from it. I've had enough of it, which drained a lot of the positive energy from me over the past several years. It has no place in my life, please keep the drama for someone else.
I've held a career with the same transportation and logistics company for the past 15 years! I believe in commitment and hard work of which I've given to various positions for many years. The company has supported me right out of high school and through college. I enjoy the challenges of the corporate world, however I foresee a change in my career path here in the next few years. I believe in doing what makes you happy. I feel I have a calling to something better and more fulfilling in life. I still have time!
My immediate family is very important to me. My parents brought us to Jacksonville through the Navy, meaning we have no extended family out here. Hence, I've kept close friends who I now consider family. I believe family are the people who are there to help you no matter what and whom you are willing to be there for just the same. My parents, brother, and two best friends are who I consider family.
Now that I've written a novel about who I am and what you may have to look forward to if we meet, feel free to email me and we'll see where things take us from there. No pressure, laid back fun is what I'm looking for... Let me know if it's with you!
