I've never felt the need to be the center of attention and I'll never be considered a social butterfly. I'm much more content watching the action, listening to whats going on around me. I would much rather throw a party for someone close to me, than to have one thrown for me. I grew up with a big family, and am happy for it. I don't know a lot of people whose family is as close as mine and I think that's too bad. Few memories are looked back upon as fondly as a big Christmas dinner at my grandma's, the smell of food cooking, the sounds of kids playing, my grandpa cracking jokes. Good times.
Really, it's the simpler things in life that truly matter. Having a good laugh with a friend, watching the sunset over Lake Michigan or hearing a song that you'd almost forgotten.
I love music, whether its listening to it, or playing it. All sorts really, I try to be as open minded about music, and really life, as possible.
I don't know what to expect to find on a site like this... I don't know anyone that's ever used one. Or at least admitted they did. I guess I'm just looking for someone that has similar values. Someone who has a good head on her shoulders, but can also laugh at herself.
