I am a smart, Christian, independent woman. I love to travel, especially to Germany. My most recent trip to Germany was spent traveling to Munich, the North Sea, and the Netherlands. Reading is another interest. I enjoy all genres. My current theme is Zombie. Favorite authors include: Jane Austen, Jonathan Mayberry and Malcolm Gladwell. I do read many articles and books about education. Favorite magazines are National Geographic and Smithsonian. I also spend a great deal of time reading about history. Often, I am reading several books at the same time.
Teaching is my passion. I am a high school Social Studies teacher. Currently, I am teaching Sophomore World Civilization and Junior American History. Other subjects taught are Psychology, Holocaust, Law and Justice, Ancient History and Civics. My favorite, by far, is World Civilization. I also enjoy the many activities at school like football games, Prom, Marching Band/Color Guard, etc. The greatest thing about teaching....it is never boring! ;)
Relaxing with a good cup of coffee and conversation is a great way to spend an afternoon. I enjoy eating out, whether it be 5-star or a Mom and Pops diner. The same with a good movie....either at a theater or at home. I love dressing up, but also hanging out in jeans.
I am interested in someone who is open-minded, enjoys traveling and is talkative. Someone who is on the go, but appreciates a nice afternoon at home. Characteristics like stong family values and determination are important to me.
