What to say? I guess I would have to start with a conversation that I had with my Family tonight, so you could get an idea of the type of person you are potentially getting to know! The topic this evening at my house for my Mom's Birthday was the Apocalypse, how we would kill zombies, who would be what in the Compound (I was the seamstress, because I watch Project Runway) and who we would eat first. We considered my Dad, because we didn't know what he brought to the table and then decided he would be to "gamey." This is my Family! This is me! Our warped sense of humors and having no shame in who we are? Because we are actually pretty funny!
About me: I am 39 and I love my age. I can say confidently that I still turn as many heads as I did in my 20's. I eat right, I work out, and even though looks are the luck of the genetic draw, I feel that I was pretty lucky. I am curvy with a very small waist, but also very toned because I run on a regular basis. I am not conceited or arrogant, I'm confident. I love to laugh and joke and I am a complete smart @ss.
I have been blessed with my career and have two amazing boys that I would do anything for. I manage my work and personal life fairly well and try to keep a good balance. I love dressing up in my business attire with my stilettos and dressing up for an evening out, but love my comfy jeans on the weekend when I'm doing my Home Improvement projects. And just so you know, I have mad Bob Villa skills for a girl!
Side note - I'm a bit of a geek. My ringtone is the X-files theme song (have the series box set) and I LOVE Star Trek. I cannot wait for the newest to come out in May of 2013!
About the type of man I want ? I would like somebody that is funny, attractive, confident, passionate in general, and comfortable in his own skin. I like people that are genuine sincere and respectful. I also want a man to be a man. I am an independent woman. However, that does not mean that I don't want a man that is strong and masculine. I love to be wrapped in the strength of a man's arms and feel protected.
One more note - Psychos, weirdos, megalomaniacs, alcoholics, narcissists, peeping tom's, emotional idiots, perverts, and just outright jerks, need not apply - You are single for a reason. Also, if you don't have a picture, I won't respond. You are most likely hiding something (MARRIED) or look like the Elephant Man. I know, I know, Married Elephant Men need love, too, But, I think there are different sites for that! That is all.
