My friends would describe me as a terrible liar, sarcastic and witty, not afraid to speak my mind, but also able to see other's perspectives, compassionate and a friend to all animals. I've been told that I have a friendly aura, and that I put people at ease. I am happily settled in a career that I love, confident in myself, and interested in slowly building up to a serious, long-term relationship. I want to meet a best friend and fall in love with him. I'm looking for an attractive guy who's funny, smart (college degree preferred), successful, calm, down-to-earth, knows himself well and is happy and confident with who he is. A sarcastic sense of humor and gentlemanly manners would be excellent! I take that back, a strong sarcastic streak is a must-have.
A bit more about me, I'm more of a hiking in the mountains kind of girl than tanning on a tropical beach, but I do appreciate relaxing with a margarita in the sand. I grew up in the Air Force and moved around a lot. I learned how to make new friends quickly, and developed a strong sense of self and a love of travel. I will always have a spot in my heart for the military. My passion lies with volunteer work and animals. I recently spent two years volunteering full-time with a local dog and cat rescue group. I hope to get back into volunteering at some point, but my "grown up job" is currently keeping me occupied. I enjoy spending at least an hour each day exercising--mostly Pilates or some derivative thereof. On a nice day I like to go running. Staying physically fit is very important to me, and I prefer that in my guy, too. I also eat a paleolithic diet most of the time.
