I am a well educated divorced mother of 2 wonderful children ages 7 and 9. I am classy yet down to earth and able to laugh at myself and any situation. I can comfortably fit into most situations and settings whether it be a formal black-tie party or a country barbecue. Even when I am completely out of my element can usually work with the situation. I accidently crashed the Hell's Angels Christmas party wearing a white turtle neck and a plaid dress. I politely stayed for a round of pool, a diet coke, and some very interesting/very respectful conversation. I try to treat others with respect and make them feel at ease.
I am athletic and work out 4-5 times per week. We only get one body to carry us through life. It is important to take excellent care of ourselves so we can enjoy life to the fullest.
I am accomplished in my career and get a lot of satisfaction from my job. I find it to be intellectually challenging and it fulfills my craving for knowledge and learning. However family is always my first priority and I am very loyal to my family and friends.
I believe life is about the simple pleasures every day has to offer. I enjoy a cup of green tea in the morning while watching the sun rise or a glass of wine while watching the moon light sparkle on lake waters. These times are even more special when shared with the right person. Let me pour your favorite drink and share a relaxing moment together.
I am attractd to a man who has strong values and the strength of character to stand by his values. Someone who is intelligent, strong, and humorous. Most important, I hope to meet a man who can be a best friend able to share feelings and laugh together. Some one who can enjoy the simple pleasures each day has to offer. I want a man who loves me for me and can show me how much he loves me through his words and his actions. Please note I have no interest in "players". I am happy to be friends without benefits. But I reserve my physical affections for a more devoted man who has shared his heart with me.
I believe communication is critical in ANY relationship. Humans have not yet mastered the art of mind reading (that I am aware of)....Or at least I haven't learned this yet. But I'm willing to learn if you can teach me;-) Otherwise I will have to depend on your willingness to share your thoughts and feelings both good and bad so nothing is left to interpretation. You may expect the same from me. Please let me know when I make you happy so I can do it again in the future....And let me know what I should avoid doing as well. This applies to friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers.
Love between a man and a woman is a rare event. And when I fall in love I give that one man my all. I am a hopeless romantic and enjoy doing nice things for that special someone on a daily basis. I'll meet you at the door everyday with a smile and a kiss. If you need someone to listen to the challenges of the day, I will listen. If you would like to discuss the complexities of Middle Eastern politics or the challenges of developing new cures for illnesses, I will delight in the intellectual discourse. If you need to put the challenges away and lighten your day, lets talk about the happier things and laugh until our sides hurt. If you need your space, I am happy to give you all the space you need although I will miss the moments apart. And when you need a hug, I will be waiting with open arms. If you crave spontaneity, lets dance in a warm rain at midnight and laugh until the sun rises in the morning.
