Me: Athletic, adventurous, honest, affectionate and fun. Love travel, new restaurants (I'm a bit of a foodie), good wine, dive bars, and live music (indie and alternative and punk for the most part, but I'm very open minded). I don't seem to have any trouble finding humor and fun in just about any situation. I've got a dry wit, but promise I'll laugh at my expense more than yours! I'm looking for something significant, so maybe you, right?
I'm a fairly avid outdoorsman (ski, snowboard, mountain bike, rock climb, kayak, SUP and scuba dive all reasonably well, but not at the same time) love to cook and am slightly better than mediocre, but fearless, in the kitchen, very handy with a power tool, and pretty well read. I've been working on my guitar skills lately, so if you're nice, maybe I'll serenade you (be forewarned, that can also be used as a form of punishment). I'd say that I'm intellectually curious and from a philosophical perspective, probably a humanist. I've been successful in my career and started my own software consulting business in 2006, which gives me some flexibility in my schedule (except when it doesn't!). I have good friends and a great family that I'm lucky enough to spend time with on a regular basis.
I've got an awesome teenage daughter (that's the real adventure) who started her second year in college in September. She's been a great travel partner and is very fun! I'm planning on keeping her. ;)
You: Absolutely need to be up for the journey (in whatever form it happens to manifest itself at the time). Balanced, well-rounded, honest, know the difference between right and wrong. Senses of adventure, humor and irony definitely required. Not afraid to get a little dirty, probably both literally and figuratively, ;) but also have an appreciation for some luxury once in a while. Not opposed to a little public affection. Flexible (now, that is figurative) and equally happy making it a night on the town, or a quiet evening at home with a bottle of wine, or anything in between. Your age is of little consequence (everyone on Match seems to be a little fast and loose on the subject, anyway - I am actually 49, by the way), but I am young in mind, body and spirit, so we probably won't be a good match if you are not. Oh, and it would be nice if you are a great kisser, too! ;)
