I'm not sure if I can describe myself in 4000 characters or less!
I graduated high school in Janaury 2003. I joined the Marine Corps shortly thereafter and went to boot camp in May '03. My mother cried for days! I was originally motivated by my grandfather who also served in the Marine Corps, fighting in Okinawa during WW2. However, my main motivation was 9/11/01. I spent 6 years in Marine Corps, never being deployed. At times, I wish I would have been. I learned a lot from the Marine Corps.
I have an Associates in Environmental Technology with a focus on Emergency Management. I spent two months in D.C. doing an internship with the Department of Homeland Security. I currently manage a portfolio for a security contractor in the West Loop. My job is extremely important to me.
I'm looking for someone who wants to be happy. Someone who wants to travel. Someone who wants to laugh. I love country music and it would be nice if I could find someone who shares that with me (although that's not really all that important).
Im attracted to someone who is smart, independent, witty, and confident. Eyes and hair are important to me. I'm attracted to to someone that takes cares of themself, workouts, and is fashionable.
I treat anyone I'm with as I would treat my mother. I've been told I'm "old fashioned", loyal, protective, trustworthy. I believe all of those traits are significant if you intend on having a good relationship. I give you my trust and its yours to lose. I don't tolerate cheating, or lying. You have nothing in a relationship if you don't trust each other, and can not communicate.
I enjoy pretty much everything. I enjoy working out, seeing a movie, traveling, road trips, being productive, lazy Sundays, the feel of brand new socks, oldies music on a summer day, the beach, dogs (don't care for cats), grilling, live music.
I'm typically an upbeat, optimistic, down to earth kinda guy. I'm Italian, German, and Irish. I have five brothers and two sisters, and my family is extremely important and supportive.
I enjoy talking politics but don't argue with people if they don't share my views.
