To explain my intro further, Mac and Dennis's (Always Sunny) futile efforts to create a Match.com profile for him were gold. His favorite food? “Milksteak.” His hobby is “magnets,” his likes include “ghouls” (surprised he didn't say bleach or rat weaponry) and what’s his pet peeve? "People’s knees."
Essentially, I'm newish to the area (Central, North NJ -Suburbia) in my own space- which is nice- but I wouldn't mind a dinner partner once in a while after the work/gym.
I am formerly a Hoboken, NYC lady of 2 years, but after some hesitance, made the leap into the ‘burbs for work. This was after doing Grad year in Brisbane, Australia in 2011 (BUS Major). It was a decent adventure... involving some Jurassic Park-esque creatures, a Reef, and $$$ dropped on dry cider. It’s not as scary as it sounds...THE CIDER that is.
Aside from work, I highly value family and friendships (zzZ?). That alongside with LAUGHTER AND WIT is huge for me. You MUST have a reasonable sense of humor. I, honestly, don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t laugh at myself certain days. Note: I am equipped with moderate sarcasm. I appreciate laughing, makes the day go by.
A good guy for me: hmmm... (weird, but I'd like to think I know my general counterpart-potential)… someone calm/ laid-back (without being boring, I like a good surprise once in a while), RELIABLE, genuine, and gentlemanly (chivalry is NOT dead, nor will it ever be). I definitely prefer someone whimsical, but with a grounded lifestyle (i.e. don’t be that guy lost in Kazakhstan or far worse, end up in jail in the next 5 minutes). A splash of controlled audaciousness is always fun.
If this works out or not, I promise I’m not an awkward person by nature. Never hurts to increase my network/friends. I’m sure we have some good stories to discuss either way.
