First and foremost, I'm a Christian...far from perfect, but forgiven. A sinner a saint. I am blessed far more than I deserve. My existence is inspired by God and Music. Music is the air I breathe and I'm deeply addicted. Been called a "music snob" more times than I can count.
I’m a self-admitting Momma's boy, I prefer Van Halen over Van Hagar, and the first tape I ever owned was by “The Escape Club”. I wish Ted Nugent"The Nuge" was MY uncle. I have a "man-crush" on Mike Patton, but I'm definitely not a homosexual, because homosexuals are gay. I love the feeling of checking things off lists (and I'm guilty of making lists for just about everything). I spend all my time with loved ones, committing useless music and band facts to memory, and playing music. Hitting things with drumsticks is my self-expression.
I appreciate awkward humor, big words in small situations, air hockey, sleeping, coffee, red meat, dark beer, guitars and dive-bars, the desert (and a raging fire in the middle of the desert at night), the sunshine and summertime. I have a penchant for Art Nouveau (especially anything by Alfons Mucha) and I also really dig the art of Christoph Mueller and Gustave Dore.
I don't like mayonnaise, alarm clocks, cold weather or precipitation in any form.
I have 3 flaws (depending on who you ask):
1.) Filling my time with all things music...perhaps to annoying levels?
2.) Unusual fascination with symmetry.
3.) I rarely close cupboards, drawers, closet doors all the way. Not sure why..I just don't.
I've found that this verse has put life into perspective for me: "Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." - Psalm 73:25-26
When it comes to dating I believe staying true to yourself is the key to a happy ending. I'm waiting for my inamorata, but I am not looking to fill a preconceived idea of what I envision the perfect woman to be. I am looking for someone with complimentary values, character, a similar outlook on life just to simply come sit next to me in the sand and enjoy a few amazing sunsets. †
