Originally from the midwest. College graduate with two wonderful children, girl and boy, both of whom are graduates and sucessful in their careers. I also have seven beautiful grandchildren of whom I am very proud. I enjoy most social settings...movies, theatre, museums, parties, if balanced with quiet times at home. ( Will even dance if pressed). I consider myself to be kind and affectionate with a good sense of humor. Socially, I haven't been very active but now feel it is time to enjoy more of life. I would like to travel both in Texas and elsewhere but not alone. I exercise regularly and consider myself to be in good shape. I enjoy most sports and play golf. I like dogs and horses.
I appreciate someone who is upbeat with a good sense of humor. I admire a person who is active and stays in shape. The qualities I think are important are the customary ones...honesty, caring, sensitivity, affectionate, respectful, etc. The best combination of these qualities is difficult to define but like so many other things in life, you somehow know it when you find it.
