I'm a mid-west girl who moved to DC four years ago because that's what you do when you have a degree in political science, right? Despite my early naive thinking, I have made DC home and love it here. My personality is outgoing, loud, witty, comedic, with a dash of mid-west nice. This means I will always say hello back to folks on the street. I'm pretty easygoing and willing to try anything, especially for potentially humorous anecdotes.
I love dancing, hanging out at a dive bar, or singing 80s songs at karaoke (I do a mean Pat Benatar). You can also catch me staying in and making fun of bad TV or at a comedy show or play. I'm a firm believer that with the right group of people, you can make any situation, setting, and activity fun. With that said, I love my friends and they are my urban family.
I'm looking for someone who has a great sense of humor and can handle silly debates, such as who is the greatest fat american actor (John Goodman vs Dom DeLuise) or who would win in a fight, bear versus shark. We do not need to have all the same interests but you must be down for trying new things. I think having good chemistry and the ability to laugh and have fun together are essential.
