I'm awed by the simple pleasures in life; waking to a sunny morning, hearing from my daughter, spending time with family, holding my Godson, watching the plants grow in the garden, thunderstorms, sunrises on the beach, happy endings, comedies, documentaries that make you think, and more.
I'm grateful for family friends that would do anything for me and that know I would do anything for them; for every day that I get to smell the roses instead of being fertilizer, for being raised to appreciate people, the arts, the natural world; and that I remain healthy enough to enjoy them.
I want a partner that's ready for and can share in the simple pleasures; and all the other stuff that life has to offer!! She enjoys dancing, traveling, dining out on different cuisines, museums, performances, holding hands, cooking (together or for each other), and sometimes just hanging out. Someone that plans on and lives like she's going to be around for a while.

Gym = upbeat, dance, hip-hop, techno, Zappa
Airplanes = Musicals, whole albums (Enya, Loreena McKennit, Frank Zappa, Doors, Yes, Harry Chapin, Bob Marley, Dire Straits...)
Dance = CW for 2-steppin', polkas, and swing
Also rock, reggae, new wave, new age...

I've been to, and would revisit London, Paris, Cairo, Athens, Rome, Mexico City, Anchorage, Vancouver, Portland,
My "just not yet" list includes Machu Picchu, more of the Middle East temples/cities, more of ancient Greece, explore the Caribbean, Russia, "Oz" (down under)
give me ancient sites, architecture, museums, mountains beaches... good food, good fun, and great company!!
