I would describe myself as hard working, realistically optimistic, very loyal to those who are deserving. I like learning. I like to be challenged in my personal life as well as my professional life. That is the only way I know how to stay engaged with the projects and people I am involved with and to grow. New and different is good to me. I have always been attracted to things and people who are new and different from me. I am driven and passionate about what I do for a living and hope to find someone who has that same passion for something in their life. Confidence is a nonnegotiable for the person with whom I spend my time. I am a confident person and feel that only a strong, confident man will be able to handle me...and interest me. I like to make people laugh (I'm a little silly) and like people who make me laugh. The ability to interest me with what you say is equally important as being physically attractive. I find it incredibly sexy if you are intelligent and maybe even witty. If your own profile is simply a list of adjectives alone, we may not be a match. What will make me want to be with someone is how they embody those adjectives in person. I love words. If my guy made up some 'word of the day' game for us to play that would be pretty awesome :) (only about 65% serious)....but I guess that reveals a little of my nerdy side. I grew up playing sports. I am an athletic person and am interested in sports but if it came to watching games all day or going out and playing one, I would much rather go play. If you tend to just watch all sports all the time, we may not be a match. If I am watching television it will usually be a sitcom or Mad Men or Family Feud or the news or a documentary or a History Channel program or some such thing...anything interesting/entertaining I can find on Netflix is fine for me. I don't subscribe to cable. I read before bed and don't have a TV in my bedroom. I I am by no means a health nut but as I get older taking care of my health by being more selective of what I put into my body has become a priority to me. I recently did the Dr. Oz three day detox cleanse and I felt pretty awesome afterwards. It was kind of like when you wash your car and you are hoping it won't rain and ruin it. I don't think I am truly great at anything yet but I am very good at a lot of things. I am straightforward and I have a hard time not being honest with people. I do always try to be sure my honesty is coming from a compassionate place and is intended to help not harm. People almost always know exactly where they stand with me. I think that's why many of my friends will ask my opinion on things. I have opinions but I try not to give them before they are solicited. If I am feeling passionate about something though, you will almost certainly hear about it. I tend to meet people two or three times and feel as though we are best friends. Because of this I would call myself a warm and inviting person. If I have been around you a handful of times and don't feel that way, I trust myself enough to know its probably not someone I should allow into my intimate circle of friends. I believe myself to be a very good judge of character and intent. Consequently (or maybe as a result of), my work requires me to do this on a regular basis. I've recently moved to the Cincinnati area and have spent much of my first 10 months here establishing myself at work. I would like to begin finding some sort of balance now with this thing they call a social life :). If you've made it this far, well done, you deserve a medal.
