I'm a playwright who moved to LA to break into writing for TV.
In a past life, I taught 11th grade English and Drama in New Haven, at the largest public school in the city. Think more "The Wire" and less "Dangerous Minds." (I once graded a research paper titled "How to Not Get Prenant.")
I graduated from Harvard in 2008; studied playwriting, sang in the Glee Club. (It was not like the TV show Glee. Instead, picture Animal House as Broadway musical.)
I dig music. I read Pitchfork more regularly than is healthy.
I spend an inordinate amount of time cooking. I like to destress by making ice cream and drinking beer. One time, I tried to combine the two, and made beer ice cream. It wasn't half bad.
I once inspired a Ben Folds song.
