I recently moved to California after finishing my graduate work in Illinois. So far California is great.
An interesting fact about me is that I just visited Sibiu, Romania to present a paper I recently published. I've also been to Italy, and the two countries had many similarities. Although I don't travel a lot, I have enjoyed the trips that I've been fortunate enough to take.
In my free time, I enjoy watching and participating in sports, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. My favorite sports are basketball and football. I'm currently reading the Walking Dead comic on which the AMC show is based. Music-wise, I enjoy a wide variety of artists including the Killers, Johnny Cash, AC/DC, Rage against the Machine, and Foster the People.
I spent a good deal of time in graduate school. Now that I'm done, there are two activities to which I want to dedicate more time. First, I want take advantage of California and go hiking more often. Second, I would like to take some art classes. Although I'm not an artist by trade, its something that I've always enjoyed.
I would like to meet a woman with whom I can share some of the interests I just mentioned. However, my match certainly doesn't need to share in all of the same interests as myself. I am definitely open to new activities and experiences. In fact, I would like to meet a woman who will share her interests and hobbies with me. It is important that my match and I not only share a romantic connection but also connect on a friendship level. Another quality that I admire is a good sense of humor. I have a good sense of humor and certainly enjoy laughing. Ultimately, I would like to find a woman that enjoys life and cares about me.
