I am very spontaneous and athletic. I have an interest in music, both playing and listening (in whatever form). It is absolutely essential to my life. Music just seems to make everything better. I am very open-minded and am usually up for trying anything twice, just in case I missed something the first time. I have a lot of different interests from hanging out in a park at a BBQ with friends, to skydiving (only once but would love to do it again). Staying in with a good movie is great, usually with good friends. I would love to learn to fly someday. Getting my private pilot certificate with helicopter rating is the goal. I've been told that I have a good personality and a great sense of humor, but it is impossible to convey that through words. The context of words, the subtlety of facial expression, body language, and general demeanor is what makes a person who they are. I believe two people should compliment, challenge, love, support and communicate with each other, and allow the other person to be who they are and make them feel good about it. I like confident, loyal, compassionate, genuine, happy people that aren't afraid to stick up for themselves or someone who deserves it. I don't play well with rude or obnoxious people, and I think respect and honesty go a long way. I pride myself that I will never lie to you, I will never cheat on you, and I will never hide anything from you, and I expect the same in return. I believe that being completely honest and open in a relationship makes two people become close, be themselves without reserve, and truly enjoy life together. I love to laugh, but would rather make the other person smile. I truly believe that I should live everyday like it's my last. That doesn't mean go out and get crazy ALL the time, just that realizing our own mortality makes life that much more exciting and worth living. I am proud and fortunate of what I have accomplished in life so far, but I am always looking to improve myself to be a better person. An early morning mountain bike ride, then lounging by the pool all day and BBQ with close friends at night is the perfect way to spend a spring day. New York, Manhattan during Christmas (never been, but always wanted to). House boating at Lake Don Pedro in the summer. Tahoe in the winter. Day at the ballpark is the best. Healthy competition is good with a little friendly sarcasm thrown in to make this interesting (NOT being thin-skinned is always good). Drinks on an outside restaurant patio bar with good conversation is always a good time. Dinner and a movie. Sometimes just hangin' around the house watching movies or nothing at all is the perfect day. Whatever the mood for the day. Being very active and knowing how to relax are equally important. Work. Play. Relax. Repeat.
