Hi everyone,
My name is Chad and I'm new to the Hermosa area. Actually, I've only been in California for a few months now. I'm an easy going guy and tend to let the wind carry me a bit. No matter what I'm doing, though, I prefer to do it with my friends and family as they are the most important components of my life.
My work keeps me pretty busy. I'm an application support member for Ideeli.com, so think IT and everything geeky that goes with it. I do enjoy my job and the discount they give me helps lessen the cost of one of my addictions: clothes shopping. Outside of the office, I am getting more into the Cali active life style and, as a result, surfing is on the top of my to-learn list at the moment.
As far as movies, and TV go, I love comedy, fantasy, and travel/history. So think Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Archer, and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. I like all sorts of music, but am particularly big into rock and blues. Joe Cocker, David Bowie, and Paul Simon have been my three worst vices as of late and I could probably listen to Led Zeppelin's "Fool in the Rain" on repeat for an hour.
I have also been doing more cooking lately. It's something I love doing even though I've probably made just as many bad meals as great ones. I do consider myself kind of a foodie and enjoy eating at local and whole-in-the-wall joints. This, of course, extends to wine and beer tasting as well.
Lastly, I'm a geek and love geeky things.
So, to boil it down, I'm an earthy but fashionable, geek but outdoorsy, wine, beer, food lover, and complete goof, who is looking for a lot of the same in a girl.
