The terms fun, caring, funny, intelligent, friendly, outgoing, casual, different, trustworthy, dedicated, loyal, supportive, compassionate, open-minded, drama-free, respectful, and respectable all describe me, and describe the type of person I hope to meet. I lead a simple, well-traveled, highly fulfilling life, one of which I am extremely proud and looking to share with someone else.
I enjoy the fabulous blessings of lifelong friendships and strong family ties. The people in my life are of the utmost importance to me. With that in mind, for the past 12 years, I've worked with economically disadvantaged children, helping them navigate the difficult lives into which they've been born. My work is a true vocation. I am devoted to my students while they are in my care, and after. At times, my work dominates my life, but I am planning to better balance all things vital to a happy, healthy existence.
As much as I love children, I've chosen for a variety of private reasons to not have my own. The man with whom I choose to spend quality time will understand and appreciate my decision.
Because I work in a school, I have long holiday breaks and summers off. These opportunities are priceless to me. I love to spend Winter Breaks on a beach under palm trees, and the majority of Summer Breaks anywhere but home. I've already visited 34 states and Mexico, been to Europe and Africa multiple times, and cannot wait to hit Australia and South America. All I need is a great pair of sneakers, my iPod, and some seriously breathtaking scenery, and I'm a very happy girl.
The man I hope to meet will happily travel with me, whether it be 15 minutes outside of Philly to my best friends' homes for their kids' birthday parties, or my overseas family's welcoming arms in Ireland. He'll understand my professional obligations, and will appreciate me for them. He'll be as proud to be with me, as I am to be with him.
Simply stated, I'm looking for the greatest of companions.
