My first career choice was a nurse at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. That plan did not last long. It was too stressful and mentally draining. I went back to school to find something I was passionate about. Whatever I did for a living, I was going to enjoy doing. Life is too short to spend most of your time in misery. I discovered the environmental field and love, love, love it! I recently finished a certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Cincinnati and am trying to figure out which direction I want to go. I am torn between environmental education and environmental advocacy. I would consider myself a “green” individual. I recycle just about everything possible. I try to eat organic foods and can’t wait until local food items become readily available. I'll start riding my bike more often once spring comes back around. I am an outgoing individual who enjoys checking out new places and participating in new activities. I actually have a bucket list to keep my mind in-check when I’m looking for something to do. For example, I haven’t/been sail boating, zip lining through a forest, watched a live rodeo, or built a campfire on a beach. These are all things I want to do at least once. My ideal man would compliment my strengths and weaknesses. No one is without flaws, but I think the right match will feel perfect. He would be someone who has a healthy relationship with his family, is well educated and enjoys similar activities as me. I’m not a video game or sports tv junkie, but I do like to see live games. I also have two cats, Mia and Lucy. I would love to have a dog someday when I get a yard, but until then, two felines in a small apartment are all I need.
