I am a country girl at heart, East Coast born and raised, which means I am perfectly content with dive bars and beer, spending time outdoors and getting a little dirty (seriously, I grew up on a small farm). That said, I make a mean martini, and can rock a pair of high heels and cocktail dress when I am feeling a little feisty. I am a world traveler, a movie aficionado, a dreamer, a wine and beer enthusiast, a lover of good conversation, a long distance runner, and a shower singer. I like variety and adventure and apply that to everything I do, like finding new restaurants (the more exotic the food the better), planning a roadtrip to a different destination, cooking up new dishes at home, or seeking out odd art exhibits (ie: art in the street at Moca or the Tim Burton exhibit). I enjoy live music performances and live sports games ( especially the Red Sox and Lakers), Living Social and Groupon deals, exploring LA, and enjoying the people and world around me. To put it simply: I am a glass half full kind of girl.
I tend to have an abundance of energy and am often on the go. My social life is typically pretty full as I like to try and make the most of my free time. My friends and family mean more to me than I can put into words, and I am fiercely loyal. I try to stay active and enjoy most sports -- hiking, volleyball, running, swimming, yoga, riding horses, etc. I took up long distance running a couple of years ago and sign up for a couple of half marathons each year. However, I am always up for someone to introduce me to something new (hint, hint).
As for what I am looking for -- chemistry. Someone who makes me laugh, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with. I believe the rest will figure itself out :)
