So, here I am trying write stuff to make someone choose me. Does this feel weird to anyone else? I do hear it actually works though.
A quick Summary of the one and only me:
The first thing that people notice about me is the obvious. I'm tall. For a long time I wished that was not the FIRST thing someone noticed, but I'm good with it now. It is noticeable and I get it. Other than the fact that cars and plane seats generally are not made for people physically like me, I love it!
I am a Christian and have a big heart. My heart aches for people of this world who suffer in any way. Believing firm in karma I try every day to do my small part in making this world a better place.
I work within the Pharma industry in Pharmaceutical drug development and am fascinated with all.
I love to travel and travel quite a bit for both business and pleasure. I mix business with pleasure any time I can often taking long weekends when I am in a cool place.
Outside- About anything. Hike weekly. Walk daily. Each year I head out to Whistler BC to ride the board. I don't know which I prefer more, Whistler Village or the mountains. Love love love to be outside and always find a way to fit it in. Hiked Brek in CO this summer while at a conference.
I feel at home in the mountains the beach and in the city.
Recently spent 10 years in the Berkshires of Western Mass and loved it. Boarded weekly in the winter, Tanglewood and hiking in the summer while living in the quaint 300yr old town of Lee. 5 miles from Norman Rockwell's home. Can you picture it now?
Been with the same company for 17 years. We have been good to each other.
I drive a Prius. I like saving money and I like the whole idea of the technology. Having that said, I also drive a big motor convertible, but mostly only on the weekends. Although it might cancel out my green efforts with the Prius, its fun!
Most weekends now for me are spent in Highlands NC- Did I say I loved the mountains? Especially when they are supplemented with great restaurants, great shopping, and lots of interesting people. I love Highlands.
I do equally love the city and dream of one day living part time in Manhattan.
While in New England I spent 25 nights a year in Manhattan, arguably the greatest city on earth. It is for me, so far....I always stay in the same BB in midtown on the west side. So many great neighborhoods All so cool and different. Only spend about a week a year there now, but I make the most of that. It's life.
Not enough time to list my favorite restaurants. I would leave some out and wouldn't want to hurt feelings. I'M A FOODIE. Great cook, and an even better eater.
My wonderful Mom taught me to cook. She was a great cook and from the time I could sit up, I would sit on the counter by the stove watching. When I went away to college, my love of good food forced me to put all the watching and questions to my mom to practice. Needless to say, my roommates were happy. My mom and my lack of money to eat out while in school started me on my cooking journey.
I was raised mainly in a home with my mom and two older sisters. Definitely had an impact on the man I am today.
Happy Shopping :)
