I just moved to the bay area in January and am looking to start fresh and meet some interesting people. I am a caring, compassionate person who is looking for an intelligent, fun-loving person who knows how to be a direct, honest and open partner. I am looking to have good conversations over a glass of wine, explore the bay area, travel and start a family. In the past few years, I have really landed on what I am looking for. It is not complicated, but I am willing to persevere until I find it. I love my job, I work with special needs individuals in a vocational film making program and enjoy the performing arts, arts and crafts, the occasional game night, trivia and good company. I love hosting and organizing events. I want a person who enjoys decorating the tree at Christmas and who can help me with my technological incompetence but who also challenges me to consider new viewpoints and ideas. I love the world around me and will get caught up watching people walk down the street. Sometimes I do get lost in thoughts in my head and am looking for someone who can recognize the balance needed between together time and space.
Random facts:
I have worked as a raft guide, taught theatre in prisons, worked for the Victoria Secret catalogue and at a vegan restaurant! All fodder for great stories! I studied abroad in grad school in Puerto Rico, London and Dublin. I do not like beets and I do not drink beer. I love mashed potatoes and chickpeas.
The next place I would like to visit would be Japan or Australia.
