I am divorced; it's something I truly wanted so I don't have any of hang-ups, drama or baggage about it. I do have two wonderful kids, and they are my heart & soul. I work full time in a great career, and I am in the process of finishing my degree. I would consider myself a strong and independent person. I like taking care of myself and I am by no means looking for a man to "take care" of me or my kids. They have a dad. It would be nice to have someone to go out to eat with or to a movie with. Or, more fun, have someone to go on adventures with me. I love to go on road trips, camping, hiking or just spontaneously trying something new. I consider myself a tom-boy who likes to dress girly. I spent 6 years in the Army so that will do it to a girl! Hanging out with guys all day long and being forced to spend weeks at a time in the middle of no where without a shower will rub some of the ?princess? attitude off, LOL. Inadvertently, you tend to start thinking like a guy but really wanting to strip the Camo off and put on a nice dress and heels.
I love being goofy if it makes others laugh but nothing embarrassing. I love sharing all the awkward and stupid things I either do or happens to me with others. If it makes them laugh then I feel better about having gone through what ever stupid thing I did. I?ll give you an old story for an example. When I was in the military we were at the rifle range to qualify on our M-16. Well there were a lot of people at the range and I had to use the restroom. Of course this meant porter-potty, the standard restroom in the field, aside from a bush or a hole of course. Anyway, there I am pants down in the latrine when the door blows open. Of course at that very exact moment there was an entire platoon marching by. So yeah, does this stuff happen to anyone else?? I was so embarrassed but it was too hilarious not to share!
I am very open- minded. I love trying new things, food, places, sport or activities, whatever, I am up for it! I love to experience other cultures. I grew up as a military brat and lived in some pretty cool places, and then traveled a bit more when I was active duty. I?d love to just keep seeing new places, any places!
I truly love being out in the country soaking up nature. I have to since I sit in an office at a computer for 8 hours a day. It re-energizes and lifts my spirits! I would truly like to meet someone who enjoys the country/nature as much as I do, but will also go to happy hour or a nice restaurant with me. Sporting events are fun as well!
