So this is the part where I tell how awesome I am for you (a total stranger) to judge and evaluate whether you'd like to talk to me. Why people turn to online dating I'm not sure I completely understand BUT...I'm definitely over the hope of meeting Prince Charming at Clarendon Ballroom while he drunkenly tells me about the glory days of his high school football career, so here goes...
Born and raised in southern VA where hay fields, milking cows, riding horses, good manners, and Sunday dinner after church still existed. I've since moved to the far north of VA and become quite accustomed to city living, but hope I've brought my values with me. I'm an ICU nurse so intelligence, compassion, and a nurturing attitude are a big part of me. I like to have fun (who doesn't?) I enjoy being cuddled up with my dog and a good book to crawling through the mud in a race/run. I've become very open-minded with age and will try anything twice (just to make sure I didn't like it the first time). I'm pretty laid back and am learning not to take life too seriously, but I know what I want out of it so I have my priorities. I think life was meant to be shared with people who bring out the best of what you already are.
I have a strong independent streak but still believe a guy can pay for the first dinner, open the car door, and walk old ladies across the street (I'm a sucker for chivalry). A good sense of humor, honesty, and genuine kindness are a must!
