I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. However, currently I work at Miami University. I come from a proud Zips family though, so no matter where I am, I will forever be a Zip at heart.
I love my family more than anything. I am the youngest of four, and am very close with my family. My father is one of the best role models and friends I could ever ask for.
In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends, trying new restaurants and new foods, live music, game nights, going to movies or just staying in and watching movies, writing, singing, hiking, and going for walks. There's nothing better than an evening walk outside on a nice spring or summer night...it makes me reflect on life, beauty, and more.
I am a sensitive, goofy, hopeless romantic. I value openness and honesty, and pride myself on being both. At times, I tend to overanalyze things (hence the B.A. in English education), but I love reflection and thinking outside of the box. I am neither an introvert nor extrovert, and prefer having a few close friends rather than a lot of surface-level friends. Once I feel comfortable with people they'd probably say I have a strong personality and am an open book. In addition, I think that love, faith, and hope are guiding principles in life. And I strongly believe that love is simply friendship set on fire so that should be the foundation for any healthy relationship.
I am looking for someone who is motivated, driven, and grounded in his values and beliefs. “I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love.” That being said, I want someone who has a strong head on his shoulders and who knows what he wants in life and in love. Intelligence is sexy, so I like someone who is well educated and reflective. In addition, I tend to be attracted to a strong, opinionated, and passionate man....someone who can keep up with me but also balance me out. I think it is important to find someone who is self-aware and comfortable being themselves. At the end of the day, I want someone who can become my best friend. Someone who is honest, faithful, and loyal. Someone who has a good sense of humor, and who can bring out the best in me. Someone who accepts me for who I am, but also challenges me to grow.
