I have a career I really love. They haven't fired me yet.. and I think the picture they have of me on the wall says I'm doing alright. My business is meeting new people and helping those people navigate through their difficult financial decisions. So when I'm meeting new people, I'd like it if those new people are good people, which leads to a lot of my time spent with rotary or other non-profits. My professional life tends to blend with my personal life

What do I like? Big on sports. Football and MMA. Shows on my DVR? Suits, Burn Notice, The Walking Dead, Modern Family, Glee, PTI, The Daily Show.
So I finally watched American Reunion over the weekend and really liked it. I'll probably pick up the DVD when it comes out. Was it the greatest of the franchise? No. But American Pie was the coming of age of my generation so I guess you can say it's got sentimental value. I remember who I watched it with... the crappy $4 theater... the glory that is shannon elizabeth. ..the hillarity that is Stiffler.. prom night and the music... Blink 182, Bic Runga's Sway. If you are 4 years younger, your movie was probably Superbad. I forget what was right before my time but I do remember in the 80's there were the John Hughes films like The Breakfast Club. Ohhh when times were easier.. =)
Why am I including this in my "About Me" section? Communication is the key to any good relationship and conversation is generally what I enjoy. A couple of my two favorite topics are sports and pop culture which is why Grantland is one of my favorite reads. If you can appreciate this kinda conversation, then I suppose I'd enjoy having a conversation with you over a cup of coffee and if you'd like to call that a 1st date, you can sure as hell bet I wouldn't end the 1st without asking you for a 2nd.
