It's taken me a while to decide to go forward with this online dating route but here I am. I enjoy going out to a good bar or pub but things have certainly changed in terms of meeting people. I do have to mention that honesty is at the top on priority list. I have now met a few people that have not been upfront with their intentions so if you're a player...move on...you're fun, but been there, done that. I'm looking for someone with some integrity....seems more difficult to find than I thought....lol. Well first and foremost I have two unbelievable kids that are the loves of my life. I have them half of the time so I do have time to spend with someone with an understanding that they are a part of my life. I am a positive person who likes to be around people that are the same. I am very fortunate to have great friends and family that I enjoy spending time with. I am looking for someone to share some of those moments and new experiences with and above all have fun!
I like almost any and all kinds of sports-watching or attending games. My preferred ones are hockey, golf and football. Love to play golf so it would be a bonus if you played or at least be willing to give it a try! I'm by no means good but just like getting out with friends or new people for the 'walk and the talk'.
I am game for new experiences and always up for an exciting challenge. Just don't ask me to sing....it wont be pretty! Maybe even bordering on torture for you. My mother told me when I was young that I couldn't even hum 'Oh Canada' ...now I'm scarred for life. Anything outdoors I find enjoyable: hiking, camping, running, boating, cottaging and camp fires of course. I love to cook and relax with a nice bottle of vino or going out fine dining or casual fare. Perhaps a local spot with live music. I adapt to both.
I've been fortunate to have travelled many places and would love to see more! France, Hawaii, Ireland and the Caribbean are my favorites. I've seen Canada from coast to coast (could always see more)....we do live in a spectacular country!
A few things about me that make me happy: chocolate especially with a good red wine, black licorice, meeting new people, live theatre, patios, interesting and intelligent conversations, great sunsets, campfires, dancing and music, parties, quiet dinners at home, intimate moments (kissing is very important), spontaneous ideas, and decent grammar...haha.
I'm looking for someone to spend some time with, get to know and see where it goes. I want to be attracted to someone both physically and mentally. I think you need to have an initial spark and attraction, but then there has to be some substance to keep it going!
Oh ya...I have a job that keeps me interested and busy. It allows me the opportunity to do many things and is quite rewarding.
