Life is continuous learning process and we should constantly be learning more about ourselves as well as the world around us. It is a clich? to say the more we learn the more we realize how little we know but I find that profoundly true.
By trade, I produce and direct video media as well as consult in marketing and advertising. In a previous life I was a research scientist in molecular genetics.
I try to keep fit and healthy and I am attracted to people that like to be fit and healthy as well. I like to surf and to scuba dive and I feel a great affinity for the ocean.
I have a great love nature, conservation, and quite specifically dogs. I have great place in my heart for the love and joy a dog can bring into one’s life, and hope to meet someone that can understand this feeling.
Music is also important part of my life, both playing and listening. My taste in music shifts like the wind but includes jazz, classical, and pop/rock. Probably not hip or knowledgeable in the latest hippest thing but will be a fountain of knowledge and passion about little pockets of music movements and genres.
I am a news junkie and in my car, my radio is usually set to NPR. The Daily Show is usually very entertaining for me.
I am also deep at heart a little bit of a geek. Joss Whedon, LoTR, BSG, Game of Thrones. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, no worries; but if you do, that’s very sexy!
I can’t say that any of those interests define me as who I am but contribute to my entire being. I am not the surfer dude, or the music guy, or the sci-fi geek.
I would like to meet someone that is knowledgeable and curious as well as insightful and compassionate. I would like to meet someone that is energized by conversation with me and is willing to overlook or forgive my faults. Someone that can complement me as well as compliment me when I’ve done something good. Someone that I can support where together we become better people than what we were as individuals.
A ten hour drive can go by in a flash if you are in the car with the right person. I’d like to meet someone that I would love to be the first person I’d want to call when I receive good news. Someone beautiful inside and out. Thanks for reading.
