No one every told me how fast your 20s fly by. It feels like I woke up one morning and I was suddenly 6 months away from turning 28! And while I would change very little from the past 6 years I would like to find someone to share future travels, cooking adventures, and long nights of laughter over bottles of red wine.
Maybe not a complete surprise to fellow DCers but I'm kinda a political junkie. I worked in campaign politics for a few years and I still like to spend my Sunday mornings over steaming cup of coffee watching Meet the Press and reading the paper. I no longer work in politics (gotta pay the bills) but I still volunteer for campaigns and advocacy groups.
I love to travel and explore new cities. I have been really fortunate to travel a lot as a child and young adult and try to maintain that now despite a busy work schedule and limited budget. I'm working on getting together a group of friends to hike the Inca trail in June of 2013.
I'm really fortunate to be close to my family. I grew up in this area and love going over every so often for a Sunday dinner or to watch some football.
I'm looking for someone that initially I can have a lot of fun with but with the hope that I can find a longer term relationship. I am attracted to people who are active, smart and with a good sense of humor. I want someone who can do a 5k with me or play on my coed rec soccer league.
