I consider myself a risk-taker by nature, I step outside of my comfort zone every now and then and stay engaged with all life has to offer. I'm always looking for my next travel adventure...I love exploring the mysteries of life while educating my mind to appreciate new ideas and cultures. Just like the 'Schoolhouse Rock' theme says, "knowledge is power!"
I'm old-fashioned in that I believe a woman should be treated like a lady, and a man should be a gentleman…always. Chivalry isn't dead, and I know a true lady will appreciate the fact that I open doors, position myself on the street side of a sidewalk, and offer my jacket if the night gets chilly. I take pride in my appearance and how I present myself, whether it be formal or casual. I may be a guy, but I want to look great for my gal when we step out to the theater, a formal event, the movies, or dinner with friends.
Family is extremely important to me. My father is my hero and my mother keeps me grounded. Since they don't live in San Antonio, I look forward to visiting with them to laugh and discuss life's interesting occurrences. When we're together, we plan lunch while eating breakfast and dinner while we're having lunch. I enjoy all types of cuisine but my favorites are Thai, Chinese, and Italian…and, of course, a great steak! I can find my way around the kitchen; Mexican and Italian are my go-to dishes. I enjoy drinking coffee daily (addicted, perhaps?) and having a glass of wine every now and then, but it’s good company and great conversation that truly complete a meal.
My roommate’s name is Darth Vader. He's constantly behind on rent, but earns his keep by guarding me from the evil mailman. He’s a mixed breed I adopted from the Humane Society. He completely lives up to his name and it’s always an adventure with him.
As for my match...a lighthearted woman who sees the humorous side of life, is down-to-earth, and is serious about settling down. A modern, independent, and educated woman who wants to share the journey through life.
