I like to live by the words, “Think positive and keep moving forward,” and I’m looking forward to the next chapter in my life! As a Registered Nurse in a busy surgical center, my career is both challenging and rewarding, but I have plenty of time to devote to the right person. A “chip off the old block,” my five year old son lives with me and is one of those great kids who always has a smile in his heart. He takes great pride in being able to help anyone. Those who know me best will tell you I’m fun to be with, outgoing and hilariously funny at the right times. While I like to think they’re right, I’d prefer you discover that for yourself. I see myself as being honest, devoted, loyal, compassionate and sincere. A woman who could use those same words to describe herself would be very attractive. A confident and affectionate man, I communicate well and I’m not afraid to show you how I feel about you so a woman who returns that as well as receives would be a good fit for me. The woman I’m looking for is creative, confident and willing to work as hard as I will to build a strong and healthy relationship. Open and optimistic, she has a great sense of humor and isn’t one to take herself, or the world, too seriously. While she’s strong and willing to stand her ground, she trusts me to be there for her when she needs me to be. Physical attraction is important of course and can only be determined in person, but an outgoing personality and great smile are a good place to start!

For Fun:
If you’re with me, watching a movie in front of the fireplace is my favorite place to be. Any activity with my son is a gift, and I also enjoy road trips and seeing what the world has to offer. I’m up for new adventure too!
Favorite Hot Spots:
Lately I haven’t traveled much, but I dream of taking my son to Disney World. As a child I spent four years in American Samoa. Closer to home, I think Ruth’s Chris is the absolute best place for steak, but I enjoy Outback and Longhorn as well.
Favorite things:
Giving back to the troops, I print unit specific t-shirts for the Air Force. I love cooking, good food and drink, and decent conversation. I cooked professionally for about eight years and Italian and Cajun are favorites!

From the Highlands of Scotland to before the American Revolution, the spirit and values of my ancestors remain with me today.
Faith:
My Christian faith is stronger now than it’s ever been and I attend church on a regular basis and listen to a Christian radio station. The positive messages are an important part of keeping me on track and optimistic.

My Nursing Degree was earned at St. Peter’s College in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
